A video exploring the limitations set on women by the society we live in. Performed by my childhood bestfirend and the voice actors are my mum and my sisters. First time working with video as a medium and something clicked. The creating felt so easy and natural, that is why it is included in this portfolio. Even though it was a short 8 week project, it was still one of my favorites.
Uskon kaikkien naisten yhtenäisyyteen.
Siteeseen naisten välillä.
Siihen joka on vuosien aikana luotu.
Olin satoja vuosia sitten merkityksellinen.
Ja niin olen edelleenkin.
Vahvistun, sekä kehityn naisten yhteisten kokemusten varrella.
Taistelen vastaan yhteiskunnan sääntöjä.
Vastustan lakeja, kaikkia vääriä tekoja ja sääntöjä.
Annan naisten olla vahvoja.
Olen naisten solidaarisuus.
Minua ei tarvitse miellyttää
Älä jätä minua varjoon.
Älä jätä minua huomioimatta.
Olen katkeamaton.
Olen voimakas.
Olen sinnikäs.
Olen vihainen.
Olen kaikkialla.
Olen globaali ymmärrys, yhteys kaikkien naisten välillä.
Yhdistän naiset taistelemaan kaikkea tätä vastaan, mitä meidän on kestettävä.
Annan naisille vapauden, ja luottamuksen.
Luottamuksen puolustaa omaa mielipidettä, ja omaa asemaa.
Tuen naisia.
Varmistan, että tuemme toisiamme.
Annan heille mahdollisuuden saavuttaa jotain suurta.
I believe in the unity of all women.
Connection between women.
The one that is built over the years.
I was relevant hundreds of years ago.
And I still am.
I get stronger and I develop through women shared experiences.
I fight against the societies rules.
I stand against the laws, the wrong doings and all the rules.
I allow women to be strong.
I am the solidarity of women.
You don’t have to please me.
Don’t leave me in the shadows.
Do not ignore me.
I am unbreakable.
I am powerful.
I am persistent.
I am angry.
I am everywhere.
I am a global understanding between women.
I unite women to fight against everything we have to go through.
I give women freedom and trust.
Trust to stand up for what they believe in.
I support women.
I make sure that women support each other.
I give them the opportunity to do something great.
